Coker Court

Coker Court

Coker Court is a manor house, built in the fifteenth century by the Courtney family and added to in the eighteenth century by the then owner. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building. The house is now divided into several properties and not open to the public.

 

A phantom coach and horses is reputed to drive up to Coker Court and collect a passenger. It then drives away.

Westwells

According to Coxe, there is a Holy Well at Westwells which is good for eyesight problems.
